For years our team has lived as nomads, in and out of vans and other vehicles. We love travel as a means to adventure, to explore within, to seek a different way to engage with the world. We also get lonely and crave connection and belonging. We wondered if there was a way to have the best of both worlds. So we moved in with a co-living community in Portland, prototyping how to merge the two worlds. A year and a half later, we’re proud to open our first community (VanVida) in southern California.

One of the most common questions I see again, and again, in the VanLife forums and groups is, how do I meet other travelers?

Well, the best way, is while you are travelling, use location aware technology to help you locate events, gathering, and more.

2 of the best apps I have checked out for this are “RVILLAGE” and an app called “SEKR“
